On October 10, 2018 CEO Arne Moebest participated in the biggest Africa-summit in Germany so far in Berlin.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel, eleven African state and government leaders, 31 African ministers, federal development minister Gerd Müller, almost 200 company representatives and numerous representatives of institutions like World Bank and IWF met in Berlin to discuss the future investment opportunities in the neighboring continent.

The biggest news was the announcement of Chancellor Angela Merkel about the “Development Investment Fund” in the amount of one billion Euro and other improvements for companies, like guarantees and securities or the financing of smaller projects.
